PERCEIVED EXERCISE BENEFITS AND BARRIERS IN ACTIVE AND INACTIVE UNIVERSITY STUDENTS

Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amaçları; (1) aktif ve olmayan üniversite öğrencilerinde algılanan egzersiz yararları engellerini karşılaştırmak (2) fiziksel aktivite düzeyi ile engelleri arasındaki ilişkiyi belirlemektir. Yöntem: kesitsel araştırmaya lisans öğrencileri davet edildi. Uluslararası Fiziksel Aktivite Anketi’ni (UFAA) Egzersiz Yaraları/Engelleri Ölçeği’ni (EBBS) içeren çevrimiçi anketi toplam 526 öğrenci cevapladı. Katılımcılar UFAA'ya göre (n:341) grup (n:185) olmak üzere 2 gruba ayrılarak değerlendirildi. Sonuçlar: Üniversite tarafından en çok yarar "egzersiz vücut görünümümü geliştirme yoludur", karşılaşılan engel ise "egzersizden yoruluyorum" idi. Aktif grupların karşılaştırılması, grubun özellikle yaşam iyileştirme, performans psikolojik bakışa dair egzersizin faydalarını gruptan daha yüksek algıladığını (p<0,05), ortamı efora fazla göstermiştir (p<0,05). Ayrıca, bakış pozitif ilişkili iken, engeller negatif ilişkiliydi (p<0,001). Tartışma: aktiviteyi arttırmak için önündeki kaldırılmalı öğrencilere faydaları öğretilmelidir. nedenle, bu sonuçları, aktiviteye katılımı teşvik etmeye yönelik müdahale stratejilerin planlanmasına katkıda bulunabilir.
